Next Up, Three Bridges At The Saffrons

After two weekends off due to opponent progression in cup competitions, The Town are finally back in action on Tuesday night as Three Bridges visit The Saffrons for the first time since 2018.

After four league games, Town have made a solid start with two away wins bumping us up the table to twelfth. James Stone has led from the front with six goals in eight appearances, firing Town into two league wins and an emphatic 9-1 victory in the first round of the Sussex Senior Cup.

The last time both clubs met was in County League football back in February 2018. Chris Cumming-Bart scored our only goal of the game that day in a 1-2 defeat at The Saffrons.

Three Bridges have not had the best of starts in the league with just one point from four games but last seasons Playoff Finalsts can’t be overlooked. Finishing in fourth spot last season and being the third highest goalscorers, it’s surely a matter of time before Jamie Crellin’s squad kickstart their season.
