Sussex Senior Cup News

The Town discovered who our next opponents in the Sussex Senior Cup would be on Wednesday evening after the second-round draw was made on BBC Sport Sussex. A trip to Southern Combination Football League Premier Division side Roffey awaits the men from The Saffrons.

Roffey conquered Division One last season, lifting the trophy with 79pts, 11 more than runners-up Seaford Town. The Town last met Roffey in the Premier Division two seasons ago and the away trip on the opening day of the campaign was Jude Macdonald’s first league game in charge. Town won both fixtures 3-0 and 4-0 respectively.

We earned our place in the second round after an emphatic 9-1 victory against Southern Combination Football League Division One side Selsey. A date for the second-round tie has not yet been confirmed but must be played on or before Wednesday 9th October.
