Alex Brewer Joins Eastbourne Town on Loan

We’re delighted to announce the one-month loan signing of Alex Brewer from Burgess Hill Town!

Alex is a talented young forward with an eye for goal, having made a name for himself in both the Isthmian Youth League Under-18s for Burgess Hill Town and Southern Combination Football League Under-18s for Hassocks. His goal-scoring exploits and exciting performances have caught the attention of many and we’re thrilled to welcome him to The Saffrons.

Brewer was the top scorer for Hassocks Under-18s during the 2022-2023 season, netting 21 goals. The striker also had an excellent season with Burgess Hill’s Under-18s, scoring a superb 37 goals in 22 games, including 9 goals in the FA Youth Cup. Some Eastbourne Town supporters might remember the name after he scored his first senior goal against The Town in a 4-1 win for Hassocks back in April 2023.

In November 2023, Brewer signed forms for Burgess Hill Town First Team and quickly made an impact scoring in a 3-3 at Sevenoaks Town just a few weeks later. He scored his first senior FA Cup goal on August 2, 2024, securing a 1-0 victory against Spelthorne Sports with an acrobatic finish.

His goal-scoring prowess was further highlighted in a match against Eastbourne Borough’s Under-18s on January 23, 2024, where he scored four goals, leading to a 6-1 victory.

This season, Alex has scored 7 goals in 23 appearances with just 12 starts. His versatility and sharp attacking instincts will add firepower to our squad as we tackle a crucial run of fixtures. We can’t wait to see Alex in action for Town!
