The Town hope to continue their three-game unbeaten streak on Tuesday night as they face Crawley side Three Bridges in a tense mid table clash under the lights at the Jubilee Field.
The game will kick off at a Three Bridges ground that has recently undergone a facility upgrade and 3G conversion, with only three games being played at this upgraded ground. Eastbourne have had a season to be proud of so far considering our promotion to the league at the start of the season, with a point against 5th place Beckenham Town just after Christmas.
Last time out, we beat Lancing 2-1 in an impressive display at the Saffrons. Nathan Hover was the star of the show with a brace. The Town will be hoping for more of the same from the fullback, who has now scored four in his last two league games. However, the introduction of striker Alex Brewer on a one-month loan from Burgess Hill should give our attack a fresh injection for the next month.
Three Bridges, currently sit 16th in the league but have three games in hand over the teams around them. The Crawley side are not to be overlooked because they currently sit 4th in the form table with four wins in their last six fixtures and a solid away win at Ashford on Saturday.
The last time these two sides met it ended 2-2 at the Saffrons so any neutrals in attendance could see a goal fest on Tuesday. We can expect a very very hard-fought match-up on what will likely be a brisk evening in Crawley.
We hope to see our travelling fans on Tuesday at 7:45pm at the Jubilee Field ground which is a 10-minute walk from the train station. UP THE TOWN!
