Jude Macdonald renews his position as First Team Manager.

After a unanimous vote of confidence at Eastbourne Town Football Club’s end of season committee meeting, and discussions between Chairman and Manager, Jude Macdonald has renewed his position as First Team Manager for the 2023/24 season.

Jude said: “I’m really pleased to have been asked to stay for another year. I feel like we have put the building blocks in place for a top 5 finish for next season and that’s something that we would all really like to achieve.

We pretty much had to rip it up and start again last summer and so to be one point off last season’s points total with one more game to play, with a much-reduced budget, is something we are all really proud of.

Town are a great club and I’d like to thank Dave Shearing, David Jenkins and the whole committee for the opportunity to be here and for the support they have given us so far.”

Dave Shearing said: “Absolutely thrilled to have Jude onboard for next season and to continue with what we are building on and off the pitch. He fits our vision for the Club, is an extremely talented coach, and has created an environment and atmosphere that myself and the committee are extremely happy with.”
