Eastbourne Town FC can confirm that Harry Simmons has decided to leave the club in pursuit of regular football opportunities.

Harry joined us in the summer of 2022 from Hastings United, where he spent the majority of his youth career, progressing through their ranks up to the Under-19s. Since arriving at The Saffrons, Harry has been an integral part of Jude’s squad for the last two and a half seasons, demonstrating incredible resilience and dedication during his time with us.

In his first season, Harry made 10 appearances before suffering a serious knee ligament injury at Saltdean in September 2022. Despite this setback, Harry worked tirelessly to return to action in July 2023.

Overcoming further injury challenges, he played a vital role in our playoff-winning season, making 27 appearances and helping the club secure promotion to Step 4.

This season, Harry has represented Eastbourne Town at the Isthmian League level 15 times, taking his total appearances for the club to 52.

We want to thank Harry for his tremendous commitment and contributions to our football club. His determination and performances have left a lasting impact, and he will always be part of the Eastbourne Town family.

We wish Harry all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his football journey and look forward to welcoming him back to The Saffrons in the future.
