Eastbourne Town Football Club End-of-Season Awards Evening 2024

A recap of Eastbourne Town Football Club’s End-of-Season Awards Evening! This event was a fitting celebration of the incredible achievements and memorable moments from the 2023-24 season. Held at The Cumberland Hotel, Eastbourne, the evening brought together players, coaches, staff, supporters, and sponsors to honor the hard work, dedication, and successes across all levels of our club.

A Historic Year for Eastbourne Town FC

The 2023-24 season will be remembered as a landmark year in the history of Eastbourne Town FC. It saw the introduction of our very first women’s development team, marking a significant step forward in promoting and developing Womens Football at Eastbourne Town. The Club also achieved promotion after winning the playoff final, taking the club back to the Isthmian League.

Triumphs Across All Teams

Our youth teams have shown exceptional talent and determination throughout the season. The Under-18s clinched the Eastbourne FA Cup, showcasing their skill and teamwork and had a fantastic journey in the prestigious FA Youth Cup. These achievements are a testament to the bright future of our club.

The Under-23s also had a remarkable journey, reaching the County Cup Final. Their drive and tenacity throughout the competition highlighted the depth of talent in our developmental squads. Though they narrowly missed out on the trophy, their performance was nothing short of inspiring.

The Men’s First Team provided a thrilling climax to the season. In a nail-biting Playoff final, witnessed by over 1,100 supporters, we emerged victorious, securing promotion back to the Isthmian League after 10 years. This achievement is a testament to the relentless hard work, dedication, and unyielding spirit of our players and coaching staff right across our three Mens teams.

The Women’s First team had a great start to their season in the Sussex Women’s Premier Division winning games with a big scorelines and also reached the County Trophy final. The Women’s Development also showed potential in Sussex Division One. Both teams showing hard work and passion both on and off the pitch.

Celebrating Success

The Awards Evening was a joyous occasion, filled with laughter, pride, and reflection. Attendees were treated to a delightful dinner by The Cumberland Hotel team, followed by the awards ceremony. We celebrated individual and team achievements, recognising the outstanding contributions of our players, coaches, and volunteers.
