Eastbourne Town F.C. have this week accepted the resignation of Woman’s Manager, Charlie Woodham, effective from Sunday 15th December.

Joining us at the start of the 2018/19 season as Head Coach, Charlie took over as Manager in December 2018 and guided the squad to their best league finish in 7 seasons. Charlie spent time in the summer looking at ways to strengthen the squad and leaves a strong group of players behind.

Charlie says: It has been such a pleasure to work with such a great club. We have had a tough start to this season in an exceptionally tough league. Although the quality of this side when the injured players return will come out. Unfortunately personal circumstances have meant that I step away from the role. It is a great opportunity for an ambitious coach who wants to work with a fantastic group of players. I will be keeping an eye on Town’s results in the future…..

All at Eastbourne Town Football Club would like to thank Charlie for all his time and efforts over the last 18 months and wish him every success in the future.
