Fletcher Holman (Transfered Away In 2023)
Fletcher first kicked a ball in Eastbourne for Eastbourne Town's youth football club partner, Oldtown Boys (and Girls). The same youth club his father played for before going on to represent Eastbourne Town at senior level just like Fletcher would do himself. Fletcher developed fast, joining local academy side, All-Stars, and then signing for Brighton Academy at the age of seven. Fletcher spent seven years with Brighton's academy before being released. Upon returning from Brighton Academy, Fletcher never gave up and his pure passion for football took over as he signed for Eastbourne Town Under-18s. In his second year at under-18s, Fletcher signed for Eastbourne Borough Under-18s, dual signing with both clubs, allowing him to play at a higher level in the Isthmian Youth League and eventually senior football with Eastbourne Town First Team. Alongside these commitments, Fletcher was representing Bexhill College football and scoring goals in abundance.
Fletcher scored a total of 18 goals for Eastbourne Town at senior level with 17 coming in the 2022-23 season alone. This season is widely considered as Fletcher's breakout season, securing the Supporters and Young Player of the Year award. He officially signed a professional contract for National League South side Eastbourne Borough in the summer of 2023 and in January 2024 successfully signed for premier league club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
