Eastbourne Town welcome Newhaven FC on Saturday, as we kick off the Christmas weekend with a festive feast!
Seven days on from our last fixture and it’s another top-six clash brewing at The Saffrons. After a brilliant three points against Steyning last weekend, our visitors this time around sit in second place, five points ahead of Town in sixth.
Newhaven are unbeaten in their last twelve league matches, yes, twelve! Only two of those were draws. But above all else, it’s the joint-best defence in the league versus the top goalscorers, with Town only conceding 17 goals and Newhaven racking up a massive 53 goals!
