Tomorrow evening see’s our third Pre Season friendly with fellow rivals Hailsham Town at The Beaconsfield. Hailsham Town are in the Southern Combination Division One league.
Last season we played them in the second round of the Peter Bentley Cup, beating them 4 – 2. Known as the Stringers, they were formed in 1885 and came 8th last season.
Public transport to the Beaconsfield is well served by the 51, 54 and 98 bus from Eastbourne Town Centre via Polegate and the 1X bus via Langney and Stone Cross. Alight at South Road walk down Diplocks Way, a footpath on the right takes you to the ground.
