Eastbourne Town Under-18s continued their impressive run with a dominant 6-0 victory, securing their place in the third round of the Under-18s County Cup. It was a strong display from Ryan Reid’s side, with a hat-trick, a brace, a clean sheet and a goalline clearance to see them through to the next round.

The opening minutes saw Town seize control, capitalising on a defensive error by Arundel. Darcy Poole intercepted a poor back pass, calmly slotting home Town’s first of the day. Just after 15 minutes, Noah Titterton-Manos’ followed up the early opener to send Town two-nil up.

Despite the fast start, it wasn’t all one-way traffic. Arundel threatened in the 20th minute, but a heroic goal-line clearance from Haydn Owen preserved Town’s two-goal lead. The game remained wide open, with both teams trading chances until the break. Poole came close to adding another, with his strike from distance deflecting off a defender and hitting the crossbar.

Early in the second half, Town reasserted their dominance. Dom Parish delivered a superb cross, which Titterton-Manos expertly converted for his second goal. Moments later, Connor Lynch provided the assist of the match, whipping in a pinpoint cross that found Poole at the back post. The striker needed only one touch to secure his second goal.

Town’s relentless attack continued, and the fifth goal arrived courtesy of Jude Jackson, whose delicate touch guided a looping effort into the far-right corner. The final goal saw excellent link-up play between Noah Fuller and Noah Titterton-Manos, with Fuller delivering a perfect cross for Titterton-Manos to complete his hat-trick.

Full-time and Town’s Under-18s marched into the third round of the County Cup. Their next county cup challenge will be an away trip to Storrington on the 10th of November.
