Eastbourne Town Sign James Stone

Eastbourne Town is delighted to announce the signing of prolific forward James Stone.

James Stone has been in fine form for local rivals Bexhill United this season scoring 12 goals in 20 appearances for the Pirates. The towering forward’s eye for goal and versatility across the frontline will certainly bolster Jude Macdonald’s attacking options.

James will be no stranger to The Saffrons faithful having made his debut back in 2015 at just 17 years old away to East Preston. He would go on to make 31 First-Team appearances between 2015 and 2017, scoring five senior goals and plenty hitting the back of the net for our under-18s & 21s.

In 2017, James made the leap across the pond to spread his footballing wings. He would spend many years in the United States Of America, culminating with a professional contract at Michigan Stars FC before returning to England in 2022 and signing for Bexhill United where he scored a total of 20 goals in 47 appearances.
