It’s the opening game of the season! Town are back in competitive action for the first time since the monumental playoff final victory back in May. Since then, there have been plenty of changes both in and out of The Saffrons. Supporters player of the season, Ollie Davies, left the club and signed for his former club, Burgess Hill. Delwin Duah signed a contract at Borough, Tom Vickers moved to Newhaven and Nathan Jenkins signed for Hartpury University.

In comes Bermudan International, Knory Scott and Polish midfielder, Marcin Ruda. Both players bring much-needed experience into a young squad.

Our Opponents

Russell Eldridge’s side have been one of the most consistent sides in the Southern Combination League in recent seasons and last season was more of the same. Finishing a respectful twelfth in the league on limited resources. Common had a tough start to their 2024/25 league campaign with a 5-0 loss away at Horsham YMCA. They will most certainly be looking to bounce back with a better performance at The Saffrons in the FA Cup.
