Statement from Eastbourne Town FC regarding Rebecca Relf:
Following a nasty collision in today’s game vs Ashford Town an ETFC womens player was taken to St Peters Hospital, Chertsey with a head injury. We are able to say that she has received the results of her CT scan and blood tests and both are all clear. Rebecca has been discharged and will be supported in her recovery going forwards. All at Eastbourne Town FC would like to thank the staff from South East Coast Ambulance Service, The Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance and Ashford Town FC for their quick response and care provided to our player during this incident.
