Kevin first played with St Patrick’s Athletic’s U19 side in their 2011/12 season and made his senior debut for the club in 4-0 win over Phoenix FC in the Leinster Senior Cup on 12 March 2012. He also appeared twice as an unused substitute in the latter weeks of the 2012 Irish Premier League season. In January 2013 he went on loan to Athlone Town in the League of Ireland First Division. However his time at Lisseywoollen was brief, and Kevin was not kept on for Athlone’s league season, his loan ending in March the. He left St Patrick’s soon afterwards.

In the summer of 2015, Kevin joined Malahide United in the Leinster Senior League and his performances saw him return to the League of Ireland, signing for Athlone Town in January 2016. He made his club debut away to Cabinteely on the opening night of the 2016 season and made 10 league appearances for the First Division side before leaving the club in June 2016 to rejoin his old Malahide boss, Pete Mahon, at Drogheda United.

Kevin’s first outing with Drogheda came in a 2-1 defeat away to Cobh Ramblers on 9 July 2016 and he went on to make 12 league appearances, scoring once, in a campaign that saw Drogheda promoted to the Premier Division via the play-offs winning the play-off final against Wexford Youths. Kevin spent a further three seasons at Drogheda playing both Irish Premier and First Division football in over 70 appearances.

In January 2020, Kevin was signed on a free transfer to Galway United. Making just 10 league appearances, Galway finished 5th in the table and qualified for the play-off’s into the Irish Premier Division. Kevin left the club 16 October 2020 and moved to England, joining the Town in November 2020.
